Journey - sketch and finish. I had a bit of a hard time getting the rainbow to ‘drape’ over the cat in the way I wanted. See the trees in the sketch? They were a placeholder as I had NO idea what I was doing with the background. Assuming that I was going to eventually figure it out was a big mistake. I spent SO many hours painting and repainting the background… and I’m still not sure it’s the right choice.

I guess you could say this art was a Journey…. I’ll see myself out.
